The UAE air defenses handle 8 ballistic missiles and 26 drones

Today (March 10, 2026), the UAE air defenses detected 9 ballistic missiles, 8 of which were destroyed, while 1 ballistic missile fell into the sea. 35 drones were also detected, and 26 drones were intercepted, while 9 drones fell inside the country’s territory.

Since the start of the blatant Iranian attack, 262 ballistic missiles have been detected, with 241 ballistic missiles destroyed, while 19 of them fell into sea water, and 2 missiles fell on state territory. Also, 1,475 Iranian drones were monitored and 1,385 of them were intercepted, while 90 drones occurred inside the country’s territory, and 8 mobile missiles were also monitored and destroyed.

These attacks resulted in 6 deaths of Emirati, Pakistani, Nepalese and Bangladeshi nationals, and 122 minor and moderate cases of injury among Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, and Palestinian.

The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security of the state, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
