Ahmed bin Saeed honors donors supporting projects "Hope Fund" Affiliated with"Al Jalila Foundation"

DUBAI, 10 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Dubai Health”, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Dubai Health”, honored the partners and donors supporting the projects of the “Hope Fund” initiative of the “Al Jalila Foundation”, the giving arm of “Dubai Health”, in appreciation of their humanitarian contributions in supporting patient treatment programs and developing health services at Dubai Hospital.

This honor came in appreciation of the generosity of donors whose contributions had a tangible impact in supporting the readiness of medical facilities and enhancing the efficiency of their services, which contributes to improving the quality of care provided to patients, and embodies the values ​​of solidarity and community solidarity that are a solid pillar in the process of humanitarian work in the UAE.

The Hope Fund is one of the qualitative initiatives launched by Al Jalila Foundation with the aim of supporting the development of Dubai Health facilities and enabling them to provide advanced medical services that meet the needs of the community, as donations from partners and supporters have contributed to creating a sustainable impact that enhances the process of excellence in the health care sector in Dubai.

This came in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Islamic Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Raja Issa Al Gurg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Jalila Foundation, member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Health, His Excellency Dr. Alawi Sheikh Ali, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, His Excellency Dr. Amer Sharif, Executive Director of Dubai Health, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Dr. Amer Al Zarouni, Executive Director of Al Jalila Foundation, along with A number of partners and donors who support patient treatment programs at Dubai Hospital, and whose names are recorded on the hospital’s “Giving Wall.”

His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani said that Dubai Islamic’s support for the “Cardiac Care Ward” at Dubai Hospital comes within the framework of the strategic partnership with the “Al Jalila Foundation,” and reflects the bank’s institutional approach to contributing within the social responsibility system through initiatives that have a direct and sustainable impact.

His Excellency stressed that partnerships between national institutions and health and charitable bodies are an effective model for integrating roles and directing resources towards priorities affecting human health and enabling specialized services. He said that this contribution embodies the bank’s conviction that investing in health infrastructure and raising the efficiency of therapeutic services represent a basic foundation for enhancing the quality of life and community service, by supporting facilities that provide specialized care according to the highest standards. He pointed out that the cardiac care wing includes 29 rooms with a capacity of 42 beds, and provides integrated services in diseases. And heart surgery.

In turn, Her Excellency Dr. Raja Issa Al Gurg stressed that the development of wings and departments at Dubai Hospital embodies the value of institutional giving as an effective model for enhancing social responsibility, noting that partnerships with individual donors and institutions represent a supportive force to enable the health sector to continue its development in accordance with the best international standards, thus enhancing the system’s ability to grow and expand to keep pace with the needs of the future.

In this context, Her Excellency Dr. Amina Al Rostamani, a member of the Board of Directors of the Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group and a member of the Board of Directors of the Al Jalila Foundation, said: We believe that uniting the efforts of individuals and institutions around a common humanitarian goal contributes to a real transformation in the quality of health services provided, and our contribution comes in line with the mission of the Al Jalila Foundation to establish a culture of institutional giving that places human health at the forefront of priorities.

The bank contributed to the development of two care wards in the hospital. The first wing includes 16 rooms with a capacity of 18 beds, while the second wing includes 30 rooms with a total of 38 beds, which enhances the capacity and supports the quality of care provided to patients.

Ahmed bin Khalaf Al Habtoor, CEO of Al Habtoor Motors, said: Our support for Al Jalila Foundation reflects our firm commitment to supporting the health sector in the country, and our keenness to raise the level of health care and serve incapable patients. We are also proud that our contribution came through the Fund of the late Muhammad Khalifa Al Suwaidi, in honor of his memory and legacy.

The support provided included the renovation of the “Kidney Care Pavilion,” which includes 15 single rooms and 13 shared rooms with a total capacity of 41 beds, and provides specialized services in nephrology and urology.

Dr. Omar Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of Dubai Hospital, explained that the support provided by partners and donors will contribute directly to the development of the hospital’s clinical care system, by providing an integrated therapeutic environment that supports patient safety and contributes to accelerating the treatment journey, which contributes to enhancing the quality of health outcomes and elevating the patient’s experience at various stages of care.
