المملكة: Meteorology: Al-Sharqiyah records the peak of high temperatures in the spring with varying rainfall in the Kingdom

Reveal National Center of Meteorology Detailed report on climate forecasts for temperatures and precipitation rates for all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the spring months of March, April, and May of the year 2026 AD.

The center’s analytical readings revealed strong indicators of average temperatures rising above the natural climatic average throughout the Kingdom in varying proportions, as it is expected that the peak of this rise will reach about 1.4 degrees Celsius, focusing specifically on the northern parts of the region. Rain exceeding average

The report’s probabilistic outputs showed a noticeable increase in the chances of rainfall exceeding their usual normal rates over a wide geographical scale that includes the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.

These promising forecasts extend to Precipitation is higher than average, covering the southern and southwestern parts of the Najran region, in addition to the western parts and separate locations from the center and east of the Riyadh region, all the way to parts of the central eastern region.

Precipitation around average

The climate data issued in the report identified a list of regions that will witness rainfall hovering around the normal rate during the three months, to include the Qassim region, excluding some of its central parts, and the Medina region, excluding its northern parts. This moderate category also includes the southern parts of the Hail region, in addition to a geographical area that includes parts of the east and north of the Riyadh region, and various parts of the center and north of the Eastern region.

Reduced chances of precipitation

The National Center of Meteorology concluded its climatic reading for the spring season by identifying the geographical areas that will record a decline in rainfall compared to the general average. Probabilistic forecasts confirmed that all the remaining parts and regions of the Kingdom that do not fall into the categories of high or moderate precipitation will, God willing, witness rainfall in amounts classified as less than the usual natural climate rate for this time of the year.
