Ajman Municipality organizes a dialogue session entitled"An integrated vision for a sustainable renaissance"

Ajman, March 10 / WAM / The Department of Municipality and Planning – Ajman, in cooperation with My Vision for Exhibition Organisation, organized a dialogue session entitled “An Integrated Vision for a Sustainable Renaissance”, as part of Ramadan activities in Al Furjan under the umbrella of the Community Councils Initiative, which aims to enhance direct communication with community members and discuss issues that contribute to building a society that supports the process of sustainable development in the emirate, in line with the directions of Ajman Vision 2030, which is to build a comprehensive, cohesive and empowered society. In conjunction with the “Year of the Family” and enhancing cohesion and interconnectedness among community members.

The session comes within the department’s efforts aimed at establishing a culture of community dialogue and exchanging experiences and ideas between community members and specialists, in a way that enhances awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship and its role in supporting the national economy and enabling individuals to transform their ideas into successful projects that contribute to diversifying sources of income and promoting innovation.

The session witnessed the participation of entrepreneur Dr. Noura Al Zaabi and entrepreneur Hilal Al Jabri, during which the speakers discussed their experiences in the field of entrepreneurship and the challenges they faced in their beginnings, in addition to reviewing the most prominent opportunities that the market offers to young entrepreneurs.

The participants discussed the importance of entrepreneurship as one of the main drivers of economic growth, stressing that encouraging youth to innovate and launch private projects contributes to creating new job opportunities and enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship in society. They highlighted the role of government agencies in providing a supportive environment for entrepreneurs through financing and training initiatives and programs that help them develop their projects and achieve sustainability.

The session touched on the pivotal role of the family in establishing a culture of work and investment among children. In this regard, the speakers emphasized that the family is the first environment in which a child’s personality and ambitions are formed, and that instilling the concepts of saving and financial planning from a young age contributes to preparing a generation capable of making informed economic decisions in the future.

The attendees discussed the importance of enabling children to engage in simple experiments in small projects, which enhances their leadership skills, self-reliance, and creative thinking, and gives them confidence in transforming their ideas into practical initiatives that can be developed over time.
