Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile and terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and a number of sister countries were discussed, where Dr. Badr Abdel Ati reaffirmed his country’s full support for the UAE and its solidarity with it in all the measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the importance of giving priority to diplomatic means and the language of dialogue to resolve various outstanding issues in the region, thus contributing to maintaining regional security and stability.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated the visit of Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, which came as an embodiment of the depth of fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and to confirm the full solidarity of the Arab Republic of Egypt with the UAE in the wake of these brutal and terrorist Iranian missile attacks.

His Highness and Dr. Badr Abdel Ati also discussed the established fraternal relations between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and ways to enhance the prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fields, in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and achieves the aspirations of their peoples towards development and prosperity.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries, and the continuous growth and development they are witnessing with the support and care of the leadership of the two brotherly countries.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, Deputy Minister of State.
