Program officials explained that adherence to these controls will radically eliminate random and irregular uses of housing within urban areas, and raise compliance rates with municipal and health requirements.
Efficiency of the housing market
The relevant authorities have threatened to implement strict penalties against violators, including imposing fines and stopping vital government services for establishments that evade correcting the housing conditions of their workers according to the available options.
These field moves come to control the efficiency of the housing market and enhance urban planning in the cities of the Kingdom, in line with the comprehensive objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing chairs the National Program for the Development of Group Housing for Individuals, Its membership includes the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, the Special Economic Cities and Zones Authority, and the Public Health Authority “Weqaya.”
