ABU DHABI, 24th March / WAM / The Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority, “Abu Dhabi Endowments”, announced the launch of the “Athar” Festival, a lively family event that brings together visitors of different ages in an entertaining atmosphere shaded by the values of goodness and giving, at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi from 25 to 29 March 2026, with the proceeds from the festival going to support the “Mother of the Emirates Endowment for Orphans”, an initiative organized by “Abu Dhabi Endowments”. During the holy month of Ramadan, it collected 3.3 billion dirhams.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of distinctive offers, entertainment experiences and creative workshops, as well as shop products provided by participating stores, and the proceeds from the event tickets and activities will go back to supporting the endowment programs and initiatives to care for orphans.
The festival provides its visitors with an atmosphere full of interaction and social communication, and allows them to extend their hands of support and giving to orphans. His Excellency Fahd Abdul Qadir Al Qassim, Director General of the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority, said that the “Athar” festival represents an advanced model of contemporary endowment work, and that the Authority is keen through it to transform community interaction and family joy into sustainable giving that directly benefits society.
