The Head of State receives a phone call from the President of the European Council
Abu Dhabi, 30 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from His Excellency Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, during which they discussed developments in the situation in the region in light of the military escalation it is witnessing and its repercussions on regional and global security and peace, in addition to its dangerous effects on the security of international navigation and the global economy.
The call also touched on the ongoing Iranian terrorist aggression against the UAE and countries in the region, which targets civilians and civilian installations and infrastructure. His Excellency condemned the terrorist aggression because it represents a violation of the sovereignty of states and international laws and an undermining of regional and international security and peace.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Antonio Costa discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the UAE, the European Union and its countries, and opportunities to expand its horizons at all levels in a way that enhances common interests and benefits everyone.
