Dealing with a shrapnel incident after a successful interception of a drone in Riffa

The Fujairah Government Media Office confirmed that the competent authorities in the emirate dealt with an accident that occurred on a farm in the Riffa area, as a result of falling shrapnel resulting from the successful interception of a drone by air defenses.

He explained that the accident resulted in the death of a person of Bangladeshi nationality, as the concerned authorities began taking the necessary measures and dealing with the site in accordance with the approved protocols.

The Media Office called on the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or publishing unreliable information, in order to preserve the safety of society and ensure the accuracy of the information circulated.
