The US Vice President spoke with “mediators” about the Iran conflict

An informed source told Reuters on Wednesday that US Vice President J.D. Vance is holding talks with “mediators” regarding the conflict with Iran, the most recent of which was yesterday, Tuesday.

The source added that President Donald Trump tasked Vance to clarify in private conversations that he is ready for a ceasefire provided that certain American demands are met, including reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

The source continued: Vance sent a “firm” message that Trump was running out of patience and warned of increasing pressure on Iranian infrastructure unless the Iranians agreed to an agreement.
