Your statements about “slapping my wife” are inappropriate

French President Emmanuel Macron considered that the statements made by his American counterpart, Donald Trump, about being beaten by his wife were “neither appropriate nor at the required level.”

In a statement in the South Korean capital, Seoul, Macron said that these statements “do not deserve a response.”

In front of his guests at the White House, Trump mocked his French counterpart’s “weakness” in front of his wife, Brigitte, saying in a sarcastic tone that the latter was “still recovering” from the effects of the famous slap he received from her.
