The Israeli army announces the targeting of Iranian helicopters and aircraft at 3 airports in Tehran

The Israeli army announced on Monday that it carried out night air strikes on three airports in Tehran, targeting a number of Iranian planes and helicopters.

The army said that dozens of Israeli fighter jets bombed other military aircraft and facilities at Bahram, Mehrabad and Azmaysh airports in Tehran.

The Israeli military statement described Mehrabad Airport, which had previously been targeted several times during the war, as a center used by the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to transfer weapons and money to its allied factions in the region.

The Israeli army confirmed that these raids “further deepen the strikes directed at the Iranian regime’s air capabilities.”
