The airport recorded its highest operational day on January 17, 2026, as the number of passengers in one day exceeded the threshold 195 thousand passengers, an increase of 9.6% compared to the highest day last year, in a clear indication of the airport’s ability to deal with high operational pressure with high efficiency.
January stands out as the most active month during the first quarter, as the number of passengers reached 5.45 million passengers, driven by the seasonality of travel and the beginning of the year, in addition to events and international flights.
