Al-Zawya Al-Hamra fire: 7 deaths inside a clothing factory in Cairo

On Tuesday, the Egyptian authorities announced the death of seven people in a fire that broke out inside a clothing factory in Cairo.

The security services of the Cairo Security Directorate said, in a press statement today, that they received a report indicating that a fire had broken out in a clothing factory in the Al-Zawia Al-Hamra area.

According to the statement, civil protection forces sent a number of fire engines to the site of the accident, to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring properties, while a security cordon was imposed around the incident to secure the area.

The statement indicated that the necessary measures were taken and the victims were transferred, while the competent authorities continue to examine the circumstances of the fire to determine its causes and determine the losses, while inspection and rescue operations continue inside the accident site.
