المملكة: Egypt: The threats directed at the Kingdom are an irresponsible escalation that undermines the security of the region
The Republic condemned Egypt Arabic condemned in the strongest terms Threats targeting the security of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the irresponsible escalation it entails that would undermine Region security and stability, and threatening the safety of maritime navigation, international trade and vital waterways, in a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and relevant Security Council resolutions.
Egypt affirmed, in a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and its support for all measures they take to preserve their security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Egypt stressed the importance of Giving priority to political and diplomatic solutions, and respecting the rules of international law, in a way that contributes to reducing escalation and maintaining the security and stability of the region.
