Bangkok joins the Flydubai network with daily flights starting next July

Flydubai announced that it will begin operating flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok as of July 1, 2026, thus becoming the carrier’s second destination in Thailand alongside Krabi.

The carrier will operate a daily flight between Dubai and Bangkok from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, which will further enhance air connectivity between Dubai and the Southeast Asian region.

The new flights will be codeshare flights with Emirates Airlines, allowing passengers to have seamless connections through the Dubai Aviation Center to reach a wide network of destinations. In addition to its growing presence in Thailand, flydubai continues to expand its operations in Southeast Asia, serving popular destinations such as Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of Flydubai, said: “We are pleased to expand our network in Thailand by launching our flights to Bangkok, giving our customers access to a new gateway to the Thai capital. For his part, Sudhir Sreedharan, Regional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said: “Bangkok remains one of the popular tourist destinations that is very popular with travelers, whether leisure or business. With the launch of our daily flights, we are providing greater flexibility and convenience to travelers, especially during the peak summer travel season. We expect strong demand, and we look forward to increasing the frequency of our flights in conjunction with the growing demand on this route during the summer.”

Flight details

The flights will be part of the code partnership flights with Emirates Airlines, allowing passengers to benefit from smoother travel routes, issue a unified ticket, complete luggage shipping procedures until the final destination, and access a wide network of shared destinations.

Flights will operate daily from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.
