The Head of State discusses with the Prime Minister of Albania the developments of the situation in the region and their repercussions on regional security and stability

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, discussed the paths of development of bilateral relations in various fields, especially economic, trade, renewable energy, technology and other fields that constitute a development priority for the two countries in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings goodness and development to their peoples.
The two sides stressed their keenness to continue strengthening the Emirati-Albanian relations, which are witnessing continuous development, and to expand the base of their development partnerships to advance sustainable economic growth that meets the aspirations of the peoples of both countries towards progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed developments in the situation in the Middle East region and its repercussions on regional security and stability, in addition to its effects on the security of international navigation and the global economy.
This came while receiving His Highness, the Prime Minister of Albania, who is on a working visit to the country.

The two sides also discussed the Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure in the UAE and countries of the region. His Excellency renewed Albania’s condemnation of the attacks, as they represent a violation of international laws and norms and an undermining of regional security and stability.
The meeting was attended by: His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs, the families of the martyrs, a number of ministers and officials, and the delegation accompanying the Albanian Prime Minister.
