Abu Dhabi Customs enhances the entrepreneurship system and consolidates the emirate’s global competitiveness

Abu Dhabi Customs confirmed that participation in the Abu Dhabi Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 comes within the framework of supporting the emirate’s orientations towards an economy based on innovation and knowledge and enhancing its role as a possible partner for the business sector in its various stages of growth.
Mohammed Al Balushi, Head of Corporate Communications at Dubai Customs, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of the festival’s activities, that the event constitutes a strategic platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers, which contributes to enhancing opportunities for cooperation and partnerships with the private sector, and supports the consolidation of Abu Dhabi’s position as a global center for entrepreneurship and investment.

He explained that Abu Dhabi Customs, during its participation in the event, is showcasing a group of innovative solutions and advanced technical projects that reflect its trend towards adopting the latest digital technologies and artificial intelligence in developing customs work, the most prominent of which is the customs clearance system supported by artificial intelligence, which contributes to accelerating procedures, raising their efficiency, and enhancing the accuracy of operations.
He said that the customs system in Abu Dhabi has succeeded in transforming into a digital and proactive model that works efficiently and smoothly and provides innovative services such as pre-arrival clearance and clearance from outside the country, which contributes to reducing time and costs for companies and enhancing the efficiency of commercial operations.
Al Balushi stressed that Abu Dhabi Customs is keen to align its services with the various stages of companies’ growth, starting from the launch stage all the way to expansion and financing by providing simplified and quick customs procedures, in addition to providing guidance and awareness to enable entrepreneurs to understand customs requirements and launch with confidence in the markets.
