The unemployment rate in Britain has fallen to its lowest level since last summer

London, April 21 / WAM / Official statistics showed that the unemployment rate in Britain unexpectedly fell to the lowest level since last summer, in light of the increasing stagnation in the job market and the decrease in job vacancies.

The British National Statistics Office reported today that the unemployment rate fell to 4.9% during the three months until last February, compared to 5.2% during the three months until last January, reaching the lowest level since August last year.
