المملكة: The Mufti of Kosovo praises the Kingdom’s support for the Holy Quran Competition and appreciates the efforts of Islamic Affairs
The Grand Mufti and Head of the Islamic Chiefdom of the Republic of Kosovo, Sheikh Naim Trnava, expressed in a press statement on the occasion of The Islamic Sheikhdomin Kosovo, with the participation of “100” male and female contestants, expressed its deep thanks and appreciation to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sustained support from the leadership
He stressed that the Islamic Sheikhdom, in the name of the Muslim Kosovo people, appreciates the great support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them -, pointing out that this support had a significant impact in supporting the people of Kosovo during the periods of war and beyond, and continues to this day.
He also noted the great role played by His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, stressing that his support and interest were a major reason – after God’s grace – in organizing these Qur’anic competitions at the level of Kosovo and the Balkan region, asking God Almighty to reward the wise leadership and His Excellency with the best reward in this world and the hereafter, and to bless their efforts to serve Islam and Muslims.
