Dubai Women organizes a march to express the values of national belonging and community cohesion


Dubai, April 24 / WAM / The branch of the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai in the Al Lisaili area organized a community march under the slogan “Proud of the Emirates” with wide participation from the people of the region in a scene that reflects the depth of national belonging and the spirit of community cohesion.
The march started from the branch headquarters towards “Last Exit” in the Al Qudra area, in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Command, which contributed to organizing the event and securing its course.
This initiative was part of a series of community activities aimed at consolidating national values and promoting positive participation in a way that supports the state’s directions in consolidating family stability and enhancing the quality of life.
Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, confirmed that the march expresses the pride of the association and the Emirati community in their homeland, the Emirates, and its wise leadership, and embodies the cohesion of the people of the Emirates and those residing on its land and their rallying around the wise leadership… noting that “The House is United” will remain a firm symbol of the unity of the national ranks.
She added that this event reflects society’s appreciation for the valor of our armed forces and their role in protecting the nation’s gains and preserving its security and stability, stressing that these national values constitute an essential foundation in building a cohesive society capable of facing challenges.
Al Falasi explained that organizing the march coincides with the declaration of 2026 as the Year of the Family, which reinforces the importance of consolidating family cohesion and instilling the values of loyalty and belonging in the hearts of generations through community initiatives that bring together various groups in a positive national atmosphere.
She added that the march is in line with the goals of the Dubai Social Agenda D33, which focuses on building stable and aware families capable of actively contributing to the development process, stressing that investing in people remains the basic foundation for achieving sustainable development.
For her part, Eliazia Khalifa, director of the association’s branch in Al Lisaili, confirmed that the march witnessed remarkable participation that reflected the spirit of pride and belonging, and included a display of luxury cars belonging to the Dubai Police, along with classic cars and motorcycles, adding a distinctive festive atmosphere.
She pointed out that the 5-kilometre-long march witnessed the distribution of symbolic gifts to the participants and the presentation of popular parades inspired by the cultural and heritage heritage of the UAE, in a way that strengthens the generations’ connection to their national identity.
The event witnessed great interaction from the families, who expressed their pride in participating in such initiatives that enhance the spirit of belonging and community solidarity and provide a positive environment for communication between community members.
