The summer season begins tomorrow with the clouds of the Pleiades

The Emirates Astronomy Society said that the summer season for the people of the desert begins from tomorrow, April 28, until the 7th of next June, with the setting of the Pleiades, which is the first season of heat and drought, and after that there will be hot weather with the rise of the Pleiades until the rise of Suhail, which is the intensity of heat and drought and the ultimate in toxins.

Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society and member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that this period, which lasts approximately 40 days, is called “the clouds,” “the clouds,” “the Pleiades clouds,” or “the fading,” which is an expression of the absence of the Pleiades star. During this period, it is associated with the sun and cannot be seen in broad daylight. It occurs before the “suns” period above the western horizon after sunset and gradually approaches it, and after the “suns” period it is above the eastern horizon. Before sunrise and gradually advancing.

He added that when the Pleiades approaches sunset, the people of the sea warn of a strong weather blow that they call “the Pleiades of the Pleiades,” and its time is about ten days or less before the Pleiades set. The Arabs also believe that if the Pleiades appears in the evening, it will bring them rain, and they say about it, “Eliya Dawat Naawt.”

During the period of absence, the Arabs avoided cupping and branding. They also avoided straining camels and even camel races. If they saw a sick camel, they said, “It was like her in the period of darkness,” meaning she strained during the period of absence.
