"art" It continues its efforts to enable young people to discover their creative skills


Sharjah, April 30, 2017 – The Fan Foundation – Media Discovery Platform concluded its series of programs and workshops for the month of April, which came as part of its ongoing efforts to enable young people to discover their creative skills and develop their abilities in the fields of photography and media art.
The programs included a specialized workshop and the “Foundation in Photography – First Level” program, with the aim of developing the skills of visual narration, photography, and the basics of composition and lighting, leading to mastering the use of the camera with manual settings.
The program contributed to providing participants with the basics of photography, understanding the mechanism of the camera and its perspective, in addition to mastering the rules of composition, and learning about the effect of lighting on image quality, which enhanced their creative abilities and contributed to developing their visual sense and building a knowledge base that would enable them to develop a future professional path, while the program included field photography tours in a number of landmarks in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Hoda Al Harmoudi, Deputy Director General of the Fan Foundation, stressed the Foundation’s keenness to provide quality programs that contribute to developing the creative skills of young people and enhance their ability to employ modern technologies in producing innovative media content that keeps pace with modern developments.
