Dubai showcases its advanced industrial system"Made in UAE 2026"

Dubai, 3 May / WAM / The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai is showcasing the emirate’s advanced industrial system that keeps pace with the needs of the future within the “Dubai Pavilion” during its participation in the fifth session of the “Make in the Emirates 2026” exhibition, which begins tomorrow at the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center and continues until May 7.
This participation comes in light of consolidating its economic flexibility and ensuring the continuity of its business, thus enhancing its position as an integrated global industrial center enjoying stability and readiness.
Dubai is participating in the event supported by a remarkable economic performance after the gross domestic product recorded a growth of 6.4% during the fourth quarter of 2025, reaching 937 billion dirhams for the entire year, which reflects continued economic momentum.
The department’s participation is consistent with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which focuses specifically on the industrial sector to increase its added value by more than double by 2033, and enhance Dubai’s position as a leading destination for industrial investment.
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism highlights the emirate as an integrated global center for advanced industries, supported by world-class infrastructure and an interconnected logistics system, as well as easy access to international markets.
Attendees will learn about the most important advantages that manufacturers in Dubai benefit from, including connectivity with more than 130 export destinations, supported by comprehensive economic partnership agreements and advanced customs procedures that enhance the smooth flow of trade.
The “Dubai Pavilion” includes a group of major entities, including Dubai Industrial City, the National Industries Park, the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIZ), Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Future Foundation, and the Food Technology Valley, in addition to a number of strategic partners.
His Excellency Hadi Badri, Executive Director of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation, the economic development arm of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, said that the wise leadership is keen to take decisive measures based on clear policies to ensure growth and stability, and our industrial sector embodies this approach, as it is characterized by diversity, technological advancement and full integration with global chains, and even in light of regional challenges, business continues to continue smoothly across the sectors of logistics services, trade and industrial operations.
He stressed the continuation of work within the framework of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, to enhance the value that Dubai provides to manufacturers by enabling and supporting new investments and expansion projects in existing factories, through incentive programs specifically designed for this purpose, which help reduce costs and expenses, raise the level of competitive advantages, and drive growth.
His Excellency added: “Our participation in “Make in the UAE” represents a valuable opportunity to translate this vision into tangible partnerships through deals that support local manufacturing, enhance economic momentum, and consolidate Dubai’s position as a global center for export-based growth.
The Dubai Pavilion will be a prominent platform for communicating with investors, manufacturers and various stakeholders and providing integrated insights into the competitive advantages enjoyed by the emirate.
Representatives of the department enjoy high-level networking opportunities covering the development of the industrial sector, facilitating the investment environment, and expanding market access from Dubai.
As part of its participation, the department introduces visitors to the Dubai Pavilion to a group of initiatives that support industrial expansion and the promotion of exports, most notably the “Export Support Programme,” which allows manufacturers in Dubai to access global markets, and the “Elite Buyers Program,” which enhances the emirate’s position as a global supply center.
Other initiatives will be presented, including programs to enable Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, the National Content Programme, and policies supporting energy in the industrial sector, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to developing an advanced industrial system and building sustainable local capabilities.
The department uses this platform to enhance national cooperation, by working closely with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and other partners, ensuring that efforts are aligned with the UAE’s national strategy.
It is also expected to announce a number of strategic partnerships with major entities in the logistics and banking services sectors during the exhibition, in an indication of continued institutional confidence in the path of industrial growth in Dubai.
