The General Authority for the Affairs of The Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque have all the technical and engineering capabilities to provide a suitable worship atmosphere for visitors The Prophet’s Mosque, where 250 umbrellas are spread throughout the courtyards of the mosque to protect worshipers and visitors from the direct heat of the sun.
These umbrellas are an engineering masterpiece designed to ensure the comfort of Guests of God and to lighten the atmosphere in the external courtyards, in line with the Kingdom’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of services provided in the Two Holy Mosques.
These umbrellas are distinguished by precise specifications that ensure efficient performance, as the height of each umbrella is 15 meters, while its total size reaches 25.5 square metres.
