Shabab Al-Ahly and Sharjah share the Karate League titles

Shabab Al-Ahly and Sharjah Sports Clubs for individual games shared the titles at the end of the General Karate League for the “Kumite” teams for the categories of women, juniors, men and juniors, after the two clubs imposed their control over the female and male competitions, in the final round that was held, the day before yesterday, in the hall of the Sharjah Sports Club (Al-Hazana Branch), with the participation of 111 male and female players from 11 clubs.
The Al-Ahly youth players succeeded in winning the titles of the women’s and junior categories, while the Sharjah Sports Club for individual games excelled by imposing its dominance in the men’s and junior competitions, so that the two clubs once again confirmed their strong presence and shared the podiums, crowning the General Karate League title at the levels of the “Kata” and “Kumite” teams for females and males. The closing ceremony and the coronation ceremony were witnessed by a member of the Board of Directors of the Karate Federation. Chairman of the Competitions Committee, Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi, Vice-Chairman of the National Teams Committee, Ahmed Salem Basalib, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Club and Head of the Club’s Individual Games Department, Engineer Sulaiman Al-Hajri, along with the Executive Director of the Federation, the expert Muhammad Abbas, the expert technical director, Hisham Sari, and the Chairman of the Referees Committee, the international referee, Jaber Al-Zaabi.
The final round of the “Kumite” category recorded the brilliance of the female youth of Al-Ahly Youth by winning first place, followed by the players of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in second place, while the third place went to the Torsian Sports Center, and the female players of Al-Ahly Youth repeated the same achievement by being crowned first place in the women’s category, ahead of the “Dubai Police” team, which ranked second, and the Mamador Academy, which came in third place.
In the male competitions, the Sharjah Youth Sports Club for individual games imposed their dominance by winning first place, and Shabab Al Ahly came in second place, while Al Dhaid Sports Club came third, and Sharjah continued its brilliance by being crowned first place in the men’s category, ahead of Kalba Sports and Cultural Club, which ranked second, while third place went to Al Dhaid Sports Club.
