"Prometheus Medical International" Showcasing its medical solutions"Made in UAE"

Abu Dhabi, 5 May / WAM / Emirati companies continue to consolidate their presence in the advanced medical services sector, by developing national solutions specialized in medical training and emergency response, in a way that supports the competitiveness of the health sector and enhances the spread of Emirati expertise in global markets, especially in the areas of rapid medical response to remote environments and vital locations.
Prometheus Medical International, a subsidiary of Response Plus Holding, which was established in the UAE about ten years ago, has established its position as a national provider specialized in applied medical training, by preparing cadres to deal quickly and effectively with emergency cases, and raising the readiness of work teams in vital sites and areas far from health services.
Ahmed Al Solh, General Manager of Prometheus Medical International, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that participation in the fifth session of the “Make in the UAE” exhibition represents an opportunity to showcase the advanced medical training solutions that the company is developing within the country, and to enhance the spread of Emirati competencies in foreign markets, noting that the company provides specialized programs in field military medicine, in addition to training civilian cadres on first aid and mechanisms for dealing with critical injuries.
He noted the company’s success in transferring its training expertise to a number of countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and the Bahamas, in conjunction with the growing global demand for specialized medical rehabilitation programs, especially among agencies and companies operating in remote environments that require a rapid initial response to preserve the lives of the injured until the arrival of specialized medical teams.
He pointed out that one of the company’s most prominent projects is developing the first integrated Emirati air ambulance via an aircraft equipped as an advanced intensive care unit, dedicated to transporting patients from the Emirates abroad to receive treatment and return them to the country. He explained that the plane obtained a license from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and carries an Emirati registration, with its ability to carry out long-range flights and provide intensive medical care on board, which reflects the development of the advanced medical services system in the country.
