Strengthening the role of the industrial sector is a strategic priority for the state

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, visited the activities of the fifth session of the “Make in the Emirates 2026” platform, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

During the tour, His Highness was briefed on the latest technologies, products on display and qualitative initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the national product in many vital sectors, in addition to employing technology to support the local production system and develop its paths.

His Highness also listened to an explanation from those in charge of the platforms about the most prominent new initiatives and projects announced during the events.

His Highness said that the industrial sector is one of the most important pillars in supporting and diversifying the national economy, stressing that enhancing its role constitutes a strategic priority for the UAE based on its ambitious vision of empowering national industries and creating a stimulating environment for innovation and investment in the industries of the future, in addition to providing opportunities for Emirati competencies in this vital field, praising the level of participations that highlight the development witnessed by the industrial sector in the country and the competitive elements that characterize it.

His Highness the President of the State met his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” at the end of his tour of the podium.

His Highness was accompanied during the tour by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and officials.
