" Emirates warriors" Announces details of its seventieth and seventy-first editions

ABU DHABI, 6 MAY / WAM / The organizing committee of the “Emirates Warriors” series of mixed martial arts championships announced the details of the 70th and 71st editions, which are scheduled to be held next Friday and Saturday at “Space Arena 42” in the Al Raha Beach area in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 42 male and female fighters from different countries of the world and including 3 main bouts over two days.
Palms Sports Company, organizing the event, held a press conference yesterday at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Fouad Darwish, Chairman of the Championship Organizing Committee, CEO of Palms Sports Company, and a number of champions participating in the event.
The 70th edition of the tournament will witness the holding of 10 bouts with the participation of 20 male and female fighters, on Friday, while the 71st edition will be held on Saturday with the participation of 22 male and female fighters competing in 11 bouts.
In detail, the 70th edition witnesses strong confrontations that bring together elite fighters from 15 countries, and the main heavyweight fight includes a confrontation between Moroccan Badr Madkouri and Brazilian Eduardo Neves.
The 71st edition will witness the return of a number of the tournament’s stars, as the Ukrainian Vladislav Rudnev will meet in the main bout for the lightweight title, with the Armenian Marton Mezliman, while the Brazilian Bruno Machado will face his Turkmen counterpart, Bakhtiyar Urazjaldiyev, in the second bout.
Fouad Darwish stressed that the “Emirates Warriors” tournaments continue to consolidate their position as one of the most prominent international sports platforms, noting that the return of the tournament to Abu Dhabi reflects the emirate’s status as a global sports destination, and its ability to host and organize major events in different circumstances, pointing out that the UAE continues to provide a unique model of security and stability, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership and the vigilance of its institutions.
For their part, a number of champions participating in the championship competitions expressed their happiness at being in Abu Dhabi to participate in the event competitions, considering that the UAE Warriors have become one of the most prominent international tournaments in which they look forward to participating in light of the strength of the competition and the quality of the participating champions.
Player Bruno Machado said: “I am happy to participate in this event, which is developing from one version to another at all levels, whether in terms of organization or the quality of the participating champions.
