The Ruler of Sharjah inaugurates the Khor Fakkan Resort at a cost of 700 million dirhams

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, opened this morning, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the Khor Fakkan Resort, which was built by Asas Real Estate Company, the real estate arm of Sharjah Islamic Bank, at a total cost of 700 million dirhams, to constitute a qualitative addition that enhances tourism and investment in the city of Khor Fakkan.
Immediately upon his arrival, His Highness unveiled the resort’s commemorative plaque, marking the official opening. His Highness toured around the resort, which extends over a land area of about 330,000 square feet, with a building area of 1.4 million square feet. His Highness got acquainted with the resort’s facilities, which consist of a ground floor in addition to two parking floors and 9 residential floors.
The resort contains 573 various residential units, ranging from one room to four rooms and a hall, in addition to 16 commercial stores, providing an integrated environment that combines housing and services.
The resort enjoys a distinctive strategic location, as it is located directly on Khor Fakkan Beach and near the Khor Fakkan Amphitheater and Waterfall. It overlooks four panoramic facades that combine the sea, the beach, the city and the mountain, giving residents and visitors a unique experience that combines nature and modern services.
The resort offers a range of recreational and service facilities, including a gym, 100,000 square feet of overhead green spaces, outdoor swimming pools and a recreational sports area for children, in addition to a private beach, as well as integrated hotel services that meet the needs of residents and visitors.
The project is distinguished by providing free ownership to all nationalities, which enhances its investment attractiveness and supports the emirate’s trends in attracting investments in the real estate and tourism sectors.
Khor Fakkan Resort is expected to contribute to supporting tourism and economic activity in the city, by providing an integrated destination that combines luxury accommodation and entertainment services, in a way that enhances the quality of life and keeps pace with sustainable development plans in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Their Highnesses were accompanied during the opening by the Minister of Federal National Council Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Islamic Bank, Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Chairman of the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Initiatives Implementation Authority “Mubadarah”, Dr. Salah bin Butti Al Muhairi, CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, Muhammad Abdullah, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al Murr, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Khor Fakkan, and a number of officials.
