Al Ain coach and players: Crowning the league title came after an exceptional season
Al Ain, May 16 / WAM / Serbian Vladimir Ivic, Al Ain coach, and the club’s players expressed their happiness at the team’s crowning of the ADNOC Professional Football League title for the 2025-2026 season, following an exceptional season without loss, and a distinguished journey on both the team and individual levels.
Ivic said that winning the title without losing is an unprecedented achievement in the history of the competition, praising the great effort made by the players since the start of the season. “It is a very wonderful feeling, because we have achieved something that no team has ever achieved before,” praising what the players have provided since the beginning of the preparation period, after they set a big goal and achieved it.
He added that reaching the title without any loss, and achieving 68 points, is an exceptional thing that has never happened before, and is the result of distinguished teamwork throughout the season.
He pointed out that the team witnessed many individual achievements, including Laba Kodjo topping the club’s all-time top scorers list, and Khaled Issa reaching his 100th match, stressing that teamwork remains the most important in the team’s journey.
Ivic explained that the season had many special moments despite its difficulty, noting that the team still has important obligations in the coming period, calling on the fans to continue their support.
For his part, Khaled Issa, Al Ain goalkeeper, confirmed that the coronation was the result of the efforts of all those who wore the club’s logo and contributed to its history.
He said: Aside from numbers and statistics, this tournament is the result of the work of every player who served Al Ain Club and contributed to it reaching this position.
He added: We congratulate Al Ain fans for this coronation and achievement, and we hope for continued successes in the next stage, while thanking them for their continued support throughout the season.
In turn, Hussein Rahimi, Al Ain player, stressed the great role of the fans in achieving the title, thanking them for their continuous support for the team.
He said that the audience played a major role in this achievement, and we promise them to continue working to achieve more championships.
Rahimi praised the team spirit within the team and the players who made the difference during the season.
