The Director General of the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Makkah region, Engineer Walid bin Ibrahim Al Daghis, accompanied by his assistants, Engineer Hassan bin Ibrahim Al-Maidi, Engineer Hani bin Hamoud Al-Maimoni, and a number of branch leaders, made an inspection field tour that included a number of slaughterhouses and Public benefit marketsin the Holy Capital, on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The tour included following up on slaughtering operations in slaughterhouses, veterinary inspection and health control mechanisms, in addition to following up on public benefit markets and ensuring the abundance and safety of food products, in line with the needs of the pilgrims to the Holy House of God and the residents of the Holy Capital.
Engineer Walid Al Daghis stressed the continuation of monitoring and field efforts around the clock, and harnessing human, technical and mechanical capabilities to support performance efficiency and raise quality. services, stressing the importance of integration between field teams and relevant authorities, which contributes to enhancing public safety and health during the Hajj season.
