The final competitions, which were held during the period from May 16 to 19 of this year and represent the fourth stage of the Olympiad, included two theoretical tests in the specializations of mathematics and informatics, and two tests, one theoretical and one practical, in the specializations of science, biology, physics and chemistry, held over two consecutive days, with a duration of 3 hours for each test.
Competition in 6 Specialties
explained "talent" The finals witnessed the competition of 864 male and female students, representing the national teams of educational departments, in the six competition specializations, including 216 in mathematics, 216 in informatics, 108 in biology, 108 in physics, 108 in science, and 108 in chemistry.
The winners among them are nominated to represent the Kingdom’s teams in the International Scientific Olympiads.
96 male and female students from the General Administration of Education participated in representing the national teams. In the Riyadh region, 96 from Jeddah, 96 from Sharqiya, 64 from Medina, 48 from Asir, 48 from Al-Ahsa, 48 from Mecca, 48 from Al-Qassim, 48 from Taif, 48 from Jazan, 32 from Najran, 32 from Hail, 32 from Tabuk, 32 from Al-Jawf, 32 from Al-Baha, and 32 from the northern border.
In addition to 16 from the Royal Commission in Jubail, and 16 from the Royal Commission in Yanbu.
18 coordinators representing the educational departments and the two royal commissions in Jubail and Yanbu contributed to supporting the competing teams, in addition to 25 members of the scientific teams charged with preparing scientific materials and tests, and 28 supervisors who directly supervise the students.

The students participating in the finals qualified from among 9,945 male and female students who took the tests for the third stage of the Olympiad in 16 educational regions, in addition to the two general departments of education at the Royal Commission in Jubail and Yanbu.
An annual national competition

"We rise" The first and largest annual national competition specialized in the fields of science and mathematics, targeting students in the first intermediate grade until the first grade of secondary school, and passing through gradual stages starting from school, then at the level of cities and governorates, all the way to the national teams competition for education departments and the finals of the Olympiad in Riyadh, with the aim of discovering talented people, empowering them and preparing them for international competition.
In its first phase, the Olympiad recorded the participation of 99,179 male and female students, representing 8,356 schools in 47 A city and a governorate distributed over 16 educational regions, and under the supervision of about 800 male and female teachers, in a scene that reflects the broad base of participation and the presence of scientific ambition among students.
Expanding the circle of discovery of gifted students
It aims "We rise" To expand the circle of discovering gifted students in public education, localize training in Olympic sciences in education departments, and raise the number of beneficiaries of specific programs.
In addition to developing scientific inclinations, developing teachers’ performance, and enriching curricula with issues that develop higher-order thinking skills, in a way that enhances students’ readiness to compete globally.
The Kingdom participates annually, represented by the Foundation "talent"in about 30 international and regional Olympiads held in different countries, with the participation of more than 120 countries represented by thousands of students, within the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program, which provides an integrated training path concerned with building the capabilities of students at various levels, and preparing them scientifically and methodologically for global competitions.
