المملكة: Scouting enhances crowd management at Hajj with modern digital tools
Public service camps conducted by the Saudi Arabian Scouts in Mecca and the Holy Sites to serve the pilgrims of the Holy House of God, today, a specialized training workshop targeting group leaders and their assistants. With the aim of increasing the efficiency of using digital tools in project management, which contributes to enhancing the quality of planning, follow-up, and supporting operational and field work during Hajj season 1447 AH.
The workshop included intensive practical training on a number of modern digital tools and platforms for managing crowds and projects, most notably the “Kanban” board dedicated to organizing, distributing and following up on daily tasks, and the “Gantt” chart concerned with managing schedules and tracking the stages of field implementation, in addition to reviewing the mechanisms for preparing technical reports and building digital dashboards to measure performance indicators and monitor work progress in real time and directly.

The training workshop focused on unifying operational work methodologies among scouting groups spread across Al-Mashaer, enhancing leaders’ capabilities in analyzing operational data, and making quick decisions based on digital follow-up and smart periodic reports, ensuring improved field performance efficiency and raising the level of readiness to serve the pilgrims in accordance with the highest regulatory standards in the Hajj environment.
