Deaths and injuries in the collapse of a building in the Moroccan city of Fez

Moroccan Channel 2 reported today, Thursday, that 11 people were killed and 6 others were injured as a result of the collapse of a 4-storey building during the night in the Moroccan city of Fez, which is about 200 kilometers east of Rabat.
The authorities reported that search operations were underway to find people possibly still under the rubble, and media showed footage of rescuers and residents digging through the rubble.
The authorities said that an investigation had been opened into the accident, and they asked residents of nearby buildings to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure in anticipation of other possible collapses.
