Fujairah Municipality confirms its readiness to receive Eid Al-Adha
Fujairah, May 25 / WAM / The Fujairah Municipality has confirmed its full readiness to receive Eid Al Adha, through the implementation of an integrated plan aimed at enhancing public health and safety and providing the best services to the residents and visitors of the emirate during the Eid period.
His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Saif Al-Afkham, Director General of Fujairah Municipality, said that the municipality has intensified its monitoring and inspection campaigns on 2,586 food and health facilities, to ensure their compliance with health and regulatory requirements, and to ensure the quality of products and services provided to the public.
He explained that the campaigns included commercial markets, food stores, men’s and women’s salons, beauty centers, and the central market, in addition to monitoring the readiness of the municipality’s slaughterhouses to receive the public during the days of Eid, ensuring the smooth and efficient workflow in accordance with the highest health and safety standards. The municipality was also keen to intensify cleaning, spraying and sterilization campaigns in the emirate.
He pointed out that the supervisory teams also carried out intensive inspection campaigns on the prices of basic goods and materials, especially consumer goods, which are in high demand during the Eid period, with the aim of protecting the consumer and ensuring price stability and the availability of products in the markets.
On the aesthetic side, the municipality worked to decorate various areas of the emirate and install decorations and lighting to highlight the joy and celebration of Eid Al-Adha, reflecting the festive atmosphere and joy of this blessed occasion.
The Fujairah Municipality called on the public to contact the municipality’s call center to report any comments or complaints, stressing its keenness to respond quickly and provide the best services around the clock during the Eid days.
