Dubai Basketball qualifies for the Adriatic League final

Sarajevo, 29 May / WAM / The Dubai Basketball team qualified for the final of the Adriatic Basketball Association (ABA League) for the 2025-2026 season, for the first time, after defeating Budučnost Vulje with a score of 103-77 in the decisive third match of the semi-final series, which was held today in the city of Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to settle the series with a score of 2-1.

Dubai Basketball reached the final in its second season of the tournament, where it meets the Serbian team Partizan in a final series held in a best-of-five match system to determine the champion.

Dubai Basketball had finished the “Top 8” stage at the top of the standings, obtaining home advantage in the knockout rounds, which gives it the right to host the first and second matches, in addition to the fifth match if resorted to.

The first match of the final will be held on June 4 in Dubai, followed by the second match on June 6, while the third match will be held outside the ground on June 10, and the fourth on June 12 if necessary, with Dubai hosting the fifth match on June 16 if the series remains tied.

Dubai Basketball performed strongly throughout the match, after imposing its control from the first minutes and succeeding in gradually expanding the gap until the final whistle.

Dzanan Musa topped the team’s scorers list with 20 points, while the team’s collective performance shined with six players scoring double figures, namely Mfiondo Kabingeli and Bruno Kabukolo with 13 points each, Dwayne Bacon and Keenan Kaminyash with 12 points, in addition to Justin Anderson with 10 points.
