Dubai Police continues to consolidate its position as a global model in modern policing

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, confirmed that the Dubai Police General Command continues its journey in enhancing security and stability and consolidating its position as a global model in modern policing and institutional innovation, coinciding with the seventieth anniversary of its founding.

This came in a statement he made on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Dubai Police, in which he reviewed the stages of development that the security institution has witnessed since its launch, and its role in supporting the development process and consolidating security and safety in the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

Al Marri said that Dubai Police has succeeded, over seven decades, in building an advanced security system that has made security and stability a fundamental pillar of the path of development and prosperity, noting that the institution has continued to develop its capabilities, anticipate the future, and deal with changes and challenges efficiently and flexibly.

He explained that the Dubai Police journey witnessed seven main stages that contributed to its institutional development, starting from the establishment stage and ending with the smart transformation and sustainability stage, which relies on artificial intelligence and future technologies to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of security work.

He added that Dubai Police has proven its ability to adapt to various challenges and crises through proactive readiness, qualified national competencies, and an integrated work system that ensures the continuity of security, traffic, criminal, and community services with high efficiency.

He pointed out that the achievements achieved came thanks to the support and vision of the wise leadership, stressing that Dubai Police will continue to invest in national competencies and modern technologies in a way that enhances the readiness of the security institution and establishes the quality of life, security and safety in society.

Al Marri appreciated the efforts of former and current Dubai Police personnel and their role in achieving achievements that strengthened the institution’s position at the regional and global levels.
