Dubai Municipality slaughterhouses receive about 19,000 sacrifices during Eid Al Adha
Dubai on June 1st / WAM / received the four Dubai Municipality slaughterhouses; Al Qusais, Al Quoz, Al Lisaili and Hatta made 18,375 sacrifices during the days of Eid Al Adha.
Dubai Municipality has implemented a comprehensive plan in all slaughterhouses, with the expansion of some sites, to raise the capacity from 550 sacrifices per hour to 1,000 sacrifices.
The slaughterhouses provided their services under the supervision of about 45 specialists from the qualified medical and veterinary staff to provide the highest levels of health protection and safety, in addition to 30 supervisors, more than 205 butchers and 165 workers.
Dr. Sultan Al Taher, Director of the Public Health Services Department at Dubai Municipality, said that the municipality has placed its slaughterhouses fully prepared to provide an integrated, smooth and safe experience that achieves customer satisfaction.
