المملكة: Resuming studies after the Eid holiday… and adopting exceptional dates for tests in Hajj areas – Urgent
Today, Tuesday, male and female school students in the Kingdom resumed their studies to complete the second academic year after the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday, amid organizational preparations for scheduling Final exams and vacation dates.
The approved academic calendar stated that the final exams will begin in most regions of the Kingdom on Sunday, the 28th of Dhul-Hijjah, corresponding to June 14, 2026 AD.
The calendar indicated the exception of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, and Medina, so that their exams will begin on Sunday, Muharram 6, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 21. 2026 AD, taking into account For operational and service arrangements related to the Hajj season.
Vacation Date
The end of the academic year vacation falls in most regions on Thursday, Muharram 10, 1448 AH, corresponding to June 25, 2026 AD.
While the summer vacation begins in Mecca, Jeddah, Taif, and Medina on Thursday, Muharram 17, 1448 AH. Corresponding to July 2, 2026 AD, according to the approved timetable.
The calendar revealed the return plan for the new academic year 1448 AH, as the administrative and supervisory bodies will resume their work on Sunday, Safar 28, corresponding to August 16, 2026 AD.
Organizing the resumption of studies
He indicated the return of Teacherspracticing teaching on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 3, corresponding to August 23, provided that the beginning of school for male and female students in all regions is on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 10, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 30, 2026 AD.
The calendar indicated exceptional dates for Mecca, Jeddah, Taif, and Medina, as administrators will return on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 3, corresponding to August 16. 2026 AD, while teachers will return on Rabi’ al-Awwal 10, corresponding to August 23.
The scheduling confirmed the start of studies for male and female students in those exceptional areas on Sunday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 17, 1448 AH, corresponding to August 30, 2026 AD, based on the official dates.
