Abdullah bin Zayed and the Portuguese Foreign Minister discuss by telephone bilateral relations and regional developments
Abu Dhabi, June 3, 2017 – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a phone call with His Excellency Paulo Rangel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Portugal, discussed the overall regional developments and the repercussions of the treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilian sites and facilities in the UAE using missiles and drones.
The phone call also reviewed the serious repercussions of these terrorist attacks on the security of international maritime navigation, energy supplies, and the global economy.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance the efforts of the international community to establish sustainable security and peace in the region.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Paulo Rangel discussed the friendly relations between the UAE and the Republic of Portugal, and paths of cooperation in various sectors that serve the development efforts of the two countries.
