Talib bin Saqr stresses the importance of theater and its role in consolidating national identity
Ras Al Khaimah, June 26 / WAM / Lieutenant General Sheikh Talib bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed the importance of theater and its role in consolidating national identity and promoting societal values.
During his meeting in his council in the Khuzam area of Ras Al Khaimah, the delegation of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah National Theater praised the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Theater in spreading cultural and artistic awareness, and Lieutenant General Sheikh Talib bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed the need to intensify cultural and awareness programs aimed at raising public awareness, in a way that contributes to confronting and combating negative phenomena, and consolidating social responsibility among various segments of society.
The meeting came within the framework of supporting the cultural and theatrical movement in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and enhancing the role of cultural institutions in serving society.
The delegation provided a comprehensive explanation of the activities, programs and participations of the Ras Al Khaimah National Theater, reviewing the most prominent activities and initiatives organized by the theater and its local participation, in addition to its efforts to support the theatrical movement, discover young talents and hone their capabilities, in a way that enhances the theater’s status and its cultural and societal role.
