"Mohammed bin Khalid Centre" Organizes community events to consolidate human values

Al Ain, June 29 / WAM / The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural Center organized qualitative awareness-raising activities, as part of its community programs aimed at consolidating human values and enhancing the quality of life, under the directives of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Educational and Cultural Institutions.
The first event was within the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Volunteering Program under the slogan “Your Volunteering is Belonging,” where a lecture was organized entitled “Our Goodness to Our Neighbors…Love and an Extending Impact,” presented by Saeed Al Badi. It reviewed examples of the sayings of the leaders of the UAE, highlighting their impact on consolidating the system of societal values, especially the concept of good neighborliness as a basic pillar in building a cohesive and cohesive society.
The lecture addressed the close relationship between the culture of volunteering and strengthening social ties, stressing that simple individual initiatives are capable of creating a deep and sustainable impact on society, by spreading the spirit of cooperation and love among members of one community, and enhancing social responsibility among individuals.
As part of the “With You for Mental Health” program, the center organized a lecture entitled “Managing Anger Consciously,” presented by Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahbabi, during which he discussed the concept of anger and the difference between it and aggressive behavior and temporary emotions, in addition to highlighting the causes of anger and the early signs that warn of loss of control, presenting a set of practical methods for managing it, such as pausing, breathing techniques, and re-evaluating thoughts, in addition to the importance of self-awareness in dealing with stressful situations.
The lecture emphasized that anger is a natural human feeling, but it turns into a real problem when it negatively affects relationships and mental health, which in some cases requires resorting to specialists to obtain appropriate support.
The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Center continues its efforts to provide specific initiatives that contribute to enhancing community awareness and consolidating the values of cohesion and tolerance, in line with the UAE’s vision of building a balanced and prosperous society.
