المملكة: Emergency training for teachers of Qur’an circles at the Prophet’s Mosque


Implemented The Prophet’s Mosquein First aid, with the aim of raising their readiness to deal with emergency situations and enhancing the safety of students.

The training program included providing participants with basic life-saving skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and dealing with cases of suffocation, bleeding and burns.

Speed of response

The program combined theoretical and practical aspects, supported by realistic simulation applications to enhance the speed of response to emergency cases.

The Director General of the Authority branch confirmed The Saudi Red Crescent in the Medina region, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, said that the course comes within the Authority’s ongoing efforts to spread the culture of first aid.

He explained that qualifying the teachers of the Holy Qur’an circles with these skills contributes to the rapid provision of emergency assistance.

An important community segment

Al-Zahrani pointed out that these teachers represent an important community segment, which reflects positively on raising the level of safety within the educational circles in the mosque. Al-Nabawi.

He added that the Authority continues to implement its programs to enable community members to acquire preventive skills to save lives.

Series of Initiatives

The “First Eight” course falls within a series of initiatives implemented by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to build a society more prepared to deal with accidents.
