Norway set a date with Brazil in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, after skipping the elimination round for the first time in its fourth participation, following its victory over Ivory Coast 2-1 on Tuesday in the round of 32.
Norway maintained its lead with a goal by Antonio Nosa (39) until the 74th minute, when substitute Amad Diallo equalized the score, before top scorer Erling Haaland gifted the victory to his country (86).
