99.9% feeling safe during the day in Dubai

The Dubai Police General Command continued to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global model in security and quality of life, after achieving advanced results in institutional performance indicators and security services during the year 2025, in a clear reflection of the efficiency of its security system, the high levels of community trust, and the acceleration of digital transformation, in line with the emirate’s vision of building the best city for living, working and visiting.
The results of the Security Quality of Life study issued by the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics, which it conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior to produce the results of the Security Quality of Life Survey in the emirates of the country, showed that Dubai Police achieved a score of 99.9% in the feeling of safety index during the day, which reflects the emirate’s success in providing a safe and stable environment that supports economic development, enhances the quality of life, and consolidates the confidence of citizens, residents and visitors.
In terms of community trust, Dubai Police achieved 96.2% in the index of trust in police stations, which reflects the quality of services provided, the competence of security personnel, and the strength of the existing relationship between the security institution and members of society, as a major partner in enhancing security and stability.
As part of its journey towards institutional excellence, Dubai Police won 51 local and international awards during the past year, in recognition of its achievements in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, excellence in services, and consolidating the best police practices at the global level.
On this occasion, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, affirmed that the achievements and results achieved were the result of the unlimited support given by the wise leadership, the Government of Dubai, and the Ministry of Interior to the General Command of Dubai Police, in the field of enhancing security and safety, working to make community members happy, and consolidating the quality of life.
He appreciated the efforts of the employees and the competence of the cadres working at the Dubai Police General Headquarters, praising their continuous giving, sincerity and dedication to work, and their pivotal role in achieving future aspirations by applying best practices, enhancing institutional excellence, and stimulating innovation and creativity at work.
For his part, the Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuer Al Suwaidi, praised the distinguished results achieved by the Dubai Police General Headquarters in the feeling of safety index, explaining that the feeling of safety index during the day is part of the security quality of life index in which Dubai Police achieved a score of 98.2% for the same year, which confirms the remarkable and sustainable progress of development and modernization efforts, and the success of the proactive security strategies pursued by Dubai Police in keeping pace with the development changes taking place in the emirate.

The Dubai Police General Command has achieved qualitative results and achievements in 7 main axes, according to studies issued by several bodies, most notably the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics, and the Dubai Police Opinion Poll Center. The seven axes are the quality of security life axis, the institutional leadership axis, the smart security and response systems “drone box” axis, the digital services axis, the future readiness and innovation axis, the recruitment and employment axis, and the call center axis.
In the Quality of Security Life axis, Dubai Police achieved a score of 98.2% in the Quality of Security Life Index, 99.9% in the Feeling of Safety Index during the day, 98.7% in the Feeling of Safety Index when roaming at night, and 96.2% in the Trust in Police Stations Index, according to an opinion poll conducted by the Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics.
In terms of receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, the Command and Control Room of the General Directorate of Operations 999 and the Call Center 901 received 6.9 million calls last year, which reflects the efficiency of the security system and its ability to respond quickly and meet the needs of community members in accordance with the highest international standards.
In the digital services axis, Dubai Police has achieved remarkable progress in enhancing digital transformation and providing smart services, as the rate of digital adoption of transactions reached 97.7%, while the total digital transactions reached more than 218 million transactions. Dubai Police provided 64 digital services through its three digital channels, represented by the Dubai Police smart application, the Dubai Police website, and the SPS smart police stations, which contributed to enhancing the customer experience and raising the efficiency of government services, in line with the country’s trends towards digital transformation. Integrator. It achieved a 96.9% customer happiness rate through digital channels.
Dubai Police also achieved a rate of 98.7% in cashless transformation for the year 2025, in line with the Dubai government’s strategy for cashless transformation, which enhances the emirate’s position among the most prominent digital cities in the world, compared to what it achieved in 2024, which reached 95.6%.
In the field of smart security and response systems, Dubai Police has 30 drone boxes in the Emirate of Dubai, responding to 3,296 reports since the launch of its project, achieving a flight time of 4,981 hours, and covering a distance of 53,943 km, which is equivalent to orbiting the Earth one and a half times. The drone box achieves a response time of 57 seconds.
In the context of enhancing preparedness for the future, Dubai Police achieved a score of 93.3% in the Future Readiness and Innovation Index, which reflects its success in establishing a culture of institutional innovation, developing proactive capabilities to face future challenges, and supporting the process of transformation towards a knowledge economy.
As part of its efforts to develop and sustain human capital, Dubai Police employed 1,345 male and female employees last year, and trained 440 university trainees. Also, 194 employees obtained a master’s degree, 19 employees obtained a doctorate degree, and 30 specialists obtained the title of expert, which reflects the success in supporting competencies, enhancing functional diversity, and empowering human resources, in support of the state’s trends in investing in people and the family as a whole, as it is true wealth and the main driver of sustainable development.
In the context of institutional leadership, and in continuation of the approach to institutional excellence, Dubai Police won 51 awards during the year 2025, 39 local awards and 12 international awards, which confirms its leading position among security institutions at the regional and international levels, and reflects the success of its strategies in applying the best international practices and achieving advanced levels of institutional excellence and innovation.
It is noteworthy that the Dubai Police General Command continued to consolidate its position as a global model in institutional excellence and investment in human capital. During the last five years, it employed 5,771 male and female employees, 247 employees obtained a doctorate degree, and 1,364 employees obtained a master’s degree. The number of scholarship students reached 243, while the number of experts who obtained the title of expert reached 359 specialists, and the number of trainees before reached 243. The number of emergency and non-emergency calls that Dubai Police dealt with during the same period reached 42.5 million calls, and it completed 768 million digital transactions, reflecting the efficiency of its operational system and its leadership in digital transformation.
While the total number of institutional awards during the past five years reached 272 awards, including 155 local awards and 117 international awards, in confirmation of its leading position and sustainable achievements at the local and global levels.
The Dubai Police General Command also achieved a qualitative and exceptional achievement in the year 2025, when it topped the list of global police agencies in the Corporate Identity Value Index issued by “Brand Finance”, with its police score being rated “The strength of corporate identity reputation is AAA+”, with a total score of 9.2 out of 10. This evaluation came after a comparative study that included general impressions in 10 countries with more than 8,000 relevant parties and stakeholders, so that the results show the excellence of Dubai Police in all aspects that The study included ethics, operational efficiency, transparency, and innovation.
The report highlighted the pivotal role of the Dubai Police and its contribution to strengthening the soft power of the UAE and Dubai at 57.9 billion dirhams (15.8 billion US dollars), out of 4.48 trillion dirhams (1.2 trillion US dollars), the value of the national brand of the UAE, according to the “Brand Finance” report.
