المملكة: 7,000 jobs expected within 142 investment opportunities in"Vegetation cover"
The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification launched 142 Environmental investment opportunity with areas exceeding 60 million square meters in various regions. The step aims to support the gross domestic product by more than two billion riyals and provide 7,000 jobs.
The Center, in cooperation with the Union of Saudi Chambers, stated that The expected volume of investment exceeds 700 million riyals, with returns of up to 16 percent.
He explained that the opportunities allow the private sector to develop projects that include camping, environmental and agricultural tourism for periods ranging between 5 and 25 years.
He pointed out that this investment package represents an integrated model for raising the efficiency of investing in environmental resources and sustaining natural sites.
Supporting development and the local economy
He added that the proposed projects contribute directly to supporting Local development and strengthening the national economy with an internal rate of return of 17 percent.
The center stressed that offering these opportunities comes to achieve the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative and the Saudi Vision 2030 by stimulating community and private participation.
It called on entrepreneurs and interested parties to benefit from these projects that combine economic returns and the preservation of natural resources.
It pointed out that it continues to offer long-term and seasonal investment opportunities in the designated locations.
He stated that these steps support afforestation and resource development to enhance the components of eco-tourism in all regions of the Kingdom.
