The President of the State receives a delegation from the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office

Abu Dhabi, 3 July / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today a delegation from the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office and the affiliated committees concerned with the affairs of the country’s pilgrims during their performance of Hajj rituals this year.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the initiatives and programs implemented by the office to serve pilgrims and follow up on their affairs, which provided them with the highest standards of care and attention, in addition to the future plans that the office aims to implement in order to continue developing its services and initiatives related to organizing the various affairs of the country’s pilgrims.

His Highness expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the members of the Emirates Pilgrims Affairs Office and its committees in serving pilgrims and enabling them to perform rituals with ease and reassurance, stressing that taking care of their affairs and caring for them from their arrival to the Holy Land until their return to the homeland is a priority.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat and Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office, appreciated the support and attention that His Highness the President of the State gives to UAE pilgrims, praising the directives of His Highness regarding providing all capabilities and means in order to facilitate the office’s tasks and support its efforts in serving the country’s pilgrims. Al-Darai also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of various state institutions and the level of their cooperation and coordination among them in order to improve the services of UAE pilgrims.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President, and a number of sheikhs, ministers and officials.
