Congolese World Cup champion Charles Bickel is Sharjah’s second signing for the new season

Sharjah Club announced the signing of Democratic Republic of the Congo national team player Charles Bekele, coming from the Spanish club Espanyol, with a contract extending for two seasons, noting that the player participated with his country’s national team in the currently held 2026 World Cup.

Sharjah Club said, on its official page on the “X” platform: “The King has acquired the services of Congolese World Cup defensive midfielder Charles Bekele, with a two-season contract, coming from the Spanish club Espanyol.”

Charles is Sharjah’s second signing for the new season, after the club recently signed Brazilian Julimar Junior.
