Gold prices fell after reaching the highest level in two weeks

Capitals, July 7 / WAM / Gold prices fell today, Tuesday, to trade below its highest level in two weeks, which it recorded during the previous session.
Gold fell in spot transactions by 0.4 percent to $4,148.59 per ounce by 00:43 GMT, while US gold futures contracts for August delivery fell by 0.2 percent to $4,160.20.
Prices of other precious metals also declined, as silver fell in spot transactions 0.8 percent to $61.57 per ounce, platinum fell 0.8 percent to $1,618.78, and palladium fell 0.4 percent to $1,264.11.
